Activities at the Farm Show More
|
Welcome to the Bourbonnais, Bradley and Kankakee area, home of THEE OLDE TIME FARM SHOW and the DAVID BRADLEY COLLECTORS. On behalf of the Officers and Directors, we hope you will enjoy the many activities we are presenting Friday thru Sunday, July 2 - 4, 2010 at THE PERRY FARM PARK. "Revisit the Memories" as you browse throughout the Flea Market and Antique Farm Exhibits. Stroll down the rows of old tractors and equipment, visit the operating exhibits of old gas engines, steam engines, the sawmill, threshing and corn shelling. Ask the operators to explain their exhibits and learn about the agricultural equipment that is "Part of America's Heritage".
Thee Olde Time Farm Show suffered a huge loss of three great members in 2009. This is a small way to pay homage to these men. Glen Davis was a big part of our Gas Engine group since the first few years of our show, EVERYONE knew Gerald Stuckey as a devout Christian with a vast knowledge of Steam Engines, and the most recent loss was that of Harold Tompkins another very active member. These three men contributed many years working in support of our show. They have touched many lives in various ways and will be missed tremendously, but will be carried in our hearts always! Have lunch, enjoy a pop, kettle popcorn and purchase a Table raffle ticket while you purchase a souvenir at the hospitality tent. You are invited to ride the tractor pulled people mover and view the exhibits as you ride around Perry Farm Park. View the exciting Remote Controlled "WEED WACKER" Pulls, buy and/or sell at our auction on Saturday Morning, or on Saturday afternoon enjoy our 12th. annual Cruz Nite. THEE OLD TIME SHOW is put on by "Thee Olde Time Farm Show Club" in cooperation with the Bourbonnais Township Park District. We wish to thank all the exhibitors, volunteers and sponsors who helped to make this show even bigger this year - God Bless You and Your Family Each and Every Day.
